Understanding the Nova Scotia Vaccine Roll-Out

Nova Scotia's COVID-19 immunization plan includes three phases. We are currently in the third phase of the COVID-19 vaccination roll-out.

Today, Nova Scotia uses two of the Canada Health approved vaccines. Both of these vaccines are MRN-A vaccines and go by the names of Pfizer-BioNTech, commonly referred to Pfizer or Moderna. Both of these vaccines require two doses for full protection, with the two doses taken at a minimum of 28 days apart.

The following topics will cover key aspects of the COVID-19 roll-out in Nova Scotia, including eligibility, how to book your appointment, and how to get your COVID-19 receipt.
